Protected monument and prepared visitor attraction are not synonyms. Firozabad has historic importance, but the practical experience is a hot, exposed field visit without a dependable ticket desk or interpretation centre.
That difference should shape what goes into the car: water, sun protection, offline navigation and enough time to leave before dusk.
Use the right pin
The fort enclosure centres on 17.0727411, 76.7949164. The older village-side pin places a visitor more than a kilometre away and obscures the scale of the actual ruins.
A correct coordinate solves navigation, not permission. Stop safely and ask locally before crossing land whose status is unclear.
Make the vehicle part of the plan
The ruins are about 32 kilometres by current road planning from Kalaburagi and around seven kilometres north of Jevargi. Retain the car rather than expecting an app pickup from an empty road.
Agree how long the driver will wait and which visible point will be the meeting place. Do not make a crumbling gateway the parking bay.

Loose walls are not viewpoints. A longer lens from stable ground produces a more truthful picture than climbing a structure that has survived six centuries.
