Who operates Roampedia
Roampedia is a service of Haben Consultants (founder Win Babu), based in Kochi, Kerala, India. In these terms, "Roampedia", "we", "us" and "our" refer to this service.
What Roampedia is
Roampedia is a free travel information directory. We publish guides and information about places — where to eat, what to do, costs and safety — and link out to each business's own profile or website. We are an information service and a neutral intermediary.
We do not process bookings or payments, we are not a marketplace, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a business. Any booking, purchase or enquiry is made directly with that business, on its own terms.
Accuracy of information
Place information is built from public sources (such as OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia), live data, and details submitted by business owners. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that any detail — hours, prices, availability, ratings — is current or error-free. Always confirm with the business before you rely on it. Ratings shown are fetched from third parties (e.g. Google) and linked to their source; we do not alter or store reviews.
Listings, rankings and labelling
Listing on Roampedia is free. We do not sell rankings or placement — order is earned from real ratings and how complete a place's information is. If any placement is ever sponsored in future, it will be clearly labelled as such.
Content you submit
If you submit a place, claim a business, or upload photos, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you own the content or have permission to use it. By uploading photos you grant Roampedia a non-exclusive licence to display them on the relevant listing. We review submissions before publishing and may edit or remove any content at our discretion.
Images and intellectual property
Photos of landmarks and attractions are used under their respective licences (for example Creative Commons or public domain), with attribution shown on each place's page. The Roampedia name, design and original content are our property. Third-party trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.
Acceptable use
Use Roampedia lawfully. Do not scrape, copy or republish the site's data at scale, submit false or misleading listings, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt the service.
Third-party links
Roampedia links to external websites and services (such as Google Maps and businesses' own profiles). We are not responsible for the content, products, services or privacy practices of those third parties.
No warranty & liability
Roampedia is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from your dealings with any business listed on it.
Privacy
Your use of Roampedia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law & grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kochi, Kerala have jurisdiction. For any question, complaint or grievance, contact our Grievance Officer at info@habenconsultants.com. We respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by law.
