The jatre is Godachi’s best-known public event, but the temple remains a living Veerabhadra and Bhadrakali shrine throughout the year. An ordinary day is better for visitors who want to understand worship without festival traffic defining every decision.
Arrive as a guest
Dress modestly, remove footwear where directed and wait through the normal queue. Ask before photographing worshippers, ritual objects or the deity; an open doorway is not automatic permission.
