The central planning fact at Kurudumale is that Sri Vinayaka and Someshvara are separate temples. Commons gives Someshvara a coordinate around 13.211889, 78.369083 and explicitly places the notable Ganesha temple a few blocks away.

What the record supports

The existing approximate Roampedia point must therefore not be described as a verified Vinayaka entrance. Someshvara’s rich image set depicts its own stone architecture, including a smaller Ganesha near the mukha-mantapa, not Kurudumale’s monumental Vinayaka.

Make the visit work

Begin with confirmed Vinayaka darshan, ask locally for the public walk to Someshvara, and then choose Mulbagal’s Anjaneya or Sripadaraja tradition. Add Avani only with enough daylight and an independent road return.

Keep Kurudumale’s two temples and an Avani extension distinct from nearby attractions. Their photographs, opening hours, permissions and facilities cannot be transferred to this site.
