Give each stop enough time
Allow 30 to 45 minutes for temple worship and orientation, then 45 to 60 minutes for Kanaganahalli if it is open. Road movement and local questions need additional slack.
Do not reduce the stupa to a five-minute photograph after the temple. Its carved and inscribed material is the reason the archaeological landscape matters.
