Saundatti’s page now supports a real day rather than one temple and two distant cards. The hill shrine, Savadatti’s town fort, Parasgad’s separate ridge and Navilutirtha’s reservoir are distinct places with different access and safety needs.
Start at the pilgrimage hill
See Yellamma early on an ordinary day, or give the shrine the entire day during a jatre. Do not force the rest of the circuit through festival traffic.
Distinguish the forts
Savadatti Fort is the compact enclosure in town. Parasgad is south of town on more exposed ground; it is not another name or coordinate for the same walls.
Finish at Navilutirtha
The district administration places Navilutirtha ten kilometres from Saundatti between two hills. Use public viewpoints, obey dam restrictions and leave before dark rather than approaching gates or steep banks.
