Ek Minar ki Masjid, Raichur

The great hill fort of Raichur, whose long inscription dates Kakatiya defensive work to 23 November 1294 and which was later held by the Vijayanagara, Bahmani and Adil Shahi powers — a double ring of walls and bastions climbing to the Bala Hisar citadel, with famous inscribed and sculpted gateways.

A Kakatiya-era hill fort a few kilometres from Raichur (Maliyabad), from whose ruins were recovered two life-size white-granite Vijayanagara elephants that stand as its best-known relics.

A Neolithic ashmound and settlement site at Kallur in Manvi taluk, near a Mahalakshmi temple with a rare three-linga pedestal and a Chalukyan Markandeshwara shrine — a layered prehistoric-and-medieval site.

The temple town of Gabbur (Garbhapura) with some thirty mostly Kalyani-Chalukya temples and around twenty-eight inscriptions, including a 1109 CE agrahara grant of Vikramaditya VI — Lakshmi-Venkateshwara, Hanuman and Basaveshwara shrines among them.

A five-faced Hanuman (Panchamukhi Anjaneya) cave shrine at Ganadhal near Raichur, revered as the spot where the saint Raghavendra Swami is said to have performed a twelve-year penance.

The old ruined hill fort of Manvi, birthplace of the Haridasa saint Jagannatha Dasa, with a hilltop Mallikarjuna shrine and an internal dargah within its bastioned walls.
