- Maravanthe Beach — A striking beach on NH-66 where the road runs on a narrow strip with the Arabian Sea on one side and the Souparnika river, backed by the Kodachadri hills, on the other.
- Kodi Beach, Kundapura — A quiet beach at Gangolli near Kundapura where the Panchagangavalli river meets the sea, with a lighthouse, an estuary and long stretches of sand.
- Barkur — A historic temple town north of Udupi, once a medieval capital of the Tulu country, dotted with old temples such as the Panchalingeshwara and Kalikamba and scattered ruins.
- Kemmannu Hanging Bridge — A pedestrian suspension bridge built by army engineering cadets in 1991 to link the river islands of Padukudru and Thimman Kudru near Kemmannu, north of Udupi — now a tourist crossing rather than the islanders’ only way off the water.
