- Kaivara Amaranarayana Temple — A Vishnu temple at Kaivara near Chintamani, the mythic Ekachakrapura of the Mahabharata where the Pandavas are said to have spent part of their exile and Bhima slew Bakasura — an old pilgrimage in a legend-rich valley.
- Kailasagiri Cave Temple, Kaiwara — A hill cave temple above Kaivara with three rock shrines to Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha, reached by a long flight of some seven hundred steps with valley views — paired with the Kaiwara Tapovana of the saint Kaiwara Thathaiah.
- Murugamalla Dargah — A prominent Sufi shrine at Murugamalla near Chintamani around the tomb of Hazrat Syed Peer, drawing large crowds of both Muslim and Hindu pilgrims at its annual urs.
