Kerala Tourism names Vishwas Point as the estate’s high trekking objective. The approach crosses a production landscape: clipped slopes, shade trees, service tracks and forest at the estate edge. It is not an ornamental garden path.
Why mountain biking belongs here
Priyadarshini hosted the fifth MTB Kerala edition in 2018 and the sixth in 2019, when the international race was recognised on the UCI calendar. The 2024 edition returned with a cross-country course described by the Tourism Department as mud, rock and water terrain.
That history explains the ground without turning an old race into a current visitor product. A competition course, ordinary estate cycling and a guided trek are different permissions. Do not arrive with a bicycle because an event once ran here.
Walk the terrain that exists today
Ask the estate which route is open, whether a guide is required and how weather has affected tracks. On the way, notice drainage cuts, changing gradients and the boundary between tea and taller vegetation. Those features made racing technical and make a wet walk slower than its map distance suggests.
