Kerala FAQs
Where should I go in Kerala?
Kochi (Cochin) is the classic first stop — heritage Fort Kochi, the city of Ernakulam, and backwater day trips, all live on Roampedia now. The hill stations of Munnar and Thekkady, the Alleppey backwaters, and the beaches of Kovalam are popular next steps.
What is the best time to visit Kerala?
October to March is the dry, pleasant season and the best time for most of Kerala. The June–September monsoon is lush and green but wet; the hill stations stay cooler year-round.
How do you get around Kerala?
Trains and buses link the main cities; within Kochi there’s a metro, ferries and the Kochi Water Metro. For hill stations and backwaters, hired cars and houseboats are common.
