DTPC Kollam states that the Kerala Forest Department runs the Kumbhavurutty and Manalar waterfall site through an eco-contact centre managed by the Manalar-Kumbhavurutty Vana Samrakshana Samithy, with a nature interaction centre nearby. It is open 8.00 am to 4.30 pm daily; entry is Rs 50 for adults and Rs 25 for children, booked offline at the gate.
