Kerala Forest Department eco-tourism trekking programme in the Nedumkayam rainforest about 15 km from Nilambur, inside the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve of Malappuram district. Guided treks lead through dense teak and evergreen forest to the old elephant kraal, the colonial Dawson girder bridge and the Karimpuzha river, with a longer trek reaching Mundakadav waterfalls.
