Subramania Siva Memorial

This memorial honours the freedom fighter and Tamil writer Subramania Siva, born in 1884, who was a close associate of V. O. Chidambaram Pillai during the Swadeshi movement. Built at a cost of about 40 lakh rupees, it was inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. His birth anniversary is commemorated at the site each year on 4 October.
