Use Thiruparkadal village as the approach base. An older directions point for Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal sat roughly 1.7 kilometres north of the temple and has been corrected.
Two shrines, one village road
Prasanna Venkatesa and Athi Ranganatha are only metres apart. The road journey from central Thiruparkadal is about 1.2 kilometres, so both shrines belong in one compact visit.
Walk only when the road permits
The route follows Thiruparkadal Branch Road, but there may not be a continuous pavement, shade or lighting. Use the morning and retain a vehicle if mobility or heat is a concern.
Accurate directions change the visit
The corrected route no longer sends visitors north or makes two neighbouring sanctums look scattered. Ask for both temple names locally and check each shrine’s worship hours before setting out.
