Iraniyur Nagarathar Clan Temple
One of the nine Nagarathar clan temples of Chettinad, located at Iraniyur near Keelasivalpatti, about 25 km from Karaikudi on the Pillaiyarpatti road. The Shiva temple carries stone inscriptions dating back to the 16th century recording royal grants and community endowments. It serves as the ancestral temple of one section of the Nattukottai Chettiar community.
