Brindavan Gardens is the ornamental terraced garden laid out below the Krishnarajasagara (KRS) dam on the Kaveri, begun in the 1920s–30s in a formal Mughal-inspired style. Symmetrical parterres, water channels, fountains and topiary run down toward the reservoir.
