Nimishamba Temple
The Nimishamba Temple at Ganjam, just outside Srirangapatna, sits on the bank of the Kaveri and is dedicated to the goddess Nimishamba, a form of Parvati. Devotees believe she grants prayers within a "nimisha" — a minute — hence the name.
