This is the SAME structure as the Alappuzha Lighthouse (slug: alappuzha-lighthouse) — the 1862 red-and-white lighthouse near Alappuzha Beach. The 'museum' refers to the small lighthouse museum at the tower's entrance, opened to the public in 2007, displaying historic navigation equipment such as oil lamps, gas flashers, sun valves and radar beacons.
