Noopura Gangai
A perennial spring and small waterfall high in the Alagar hills above Pazhamudircholai, near the Azhagar Kovil temple complex. Its name means 'anklet river', from a legend that the water springs from the anklet of a celestial figure, and its clear cascade forms a sacred bathing spot for pilgrims. The trek passes through the reserve forest of the Alagar range.
