- Ekambareswarar Temple, Chettikulam — An ancient Shiva temple attributed to Chola patronage under Parantaka Chola (c. 907-955 CE). It is known for a rare set of Kubera sculptures placed at twelve points to represent the twelve zodiac signs, and for musical pillars in the inner corridor that sound distinct notes when tapped. Its main gopuram rises about 100 feet and is visible from several kilometres away.
- Balathandapani (Thandayuthapani) Temple, Chettikulam — A hill and rock Murugan (Dhandayuthapani) shrine adjoining the Ekambareswarar temple complex at Chettikulam. Associated with Chola-era construction, it preserves old stone inscriptions recording the temple's history. Its Thaipoosam and Panguni Uthiram festivals draw large crowds of pilgrims.
