Highlights
- Visvakudi Dam (Visuvakudi Reservoir) — A reservoir built across the Kallar stream at Visvakudi, set between the Vayalar hills and Semmalai. The dam is about 615 metres long and holds roughly 30.67 million cubic feet of water. Its scenic hill backdrop makes it a frequented local picnic and viewing spot.
- Kailasanathar Temple, Kunnam — The town of Kunnam holds a cluster of ancient Chola-period temples, of which the Kailasanathar (Shiva) temple is the best known, alongside the Meenakshi Amman and Sundareswarar shrines. These temples are noted for their old stone carvings and remain active places of worship dating to the Chola era.
