- Nava Tirupati Divya Desam Temples — A cluster of nine Vishnu Divya Desam temples along the Thamirabarani river between Srivaikuntam and Tiruchendur, each associated with one of the nine planets (navagraha).
- Srivaikuntanathan Perumal Temple, Srivaikuntam — The principal Divya Desam of the Nava Tirupati group, on the banks of the Thamirabarani, where Vishnu is worshipped as Vaikuntanathan; known for its ornate Pandya-era architecture.
- Vaithamanidhi Perumal Temple, Thirukkolur — One of the nine Nava Tirupati Divya Desams, dedicated to Vishnu as Vaithamanidhi; birthplace of the Alwar saint Madhurakavi.
- Adhinathar Temple, Alwarthirunagari — A Nava Tirupati Divya Desam and the birthplace of Nammalvar, foremost of the twelve Alwar saints, said to have composed his Tamil hymns beneath a tamarind tree here.
- Adichanallur Archaeological Site — An ancient Iron Age urn-burial archaeological site on the Thamirabarani near Srivaikuntam, where skeletons in clay urns and Tamil-Brahmi inscriptions have been excavated.
- Sivakalai — A village near Srivaikuntam whose Thamirabarani-valley urn-burial finds have been dated to roughly 3,200 years ago, cited as evidence of an ancient Tamil Iron Age civilisation.
