About
Windermere Estate is a Pothamedu plantation retreat with Garden, Estate and Planters room categories. Its operator describes meals served in courses rather than a fixed buffet. Compare room position, hillside access and meal preferences before reserving.
What to know before you go
Windermere Estate is a plantation retreat at Pothamedu, above Munnar. Its guest accommodation developed around a planter’s bungalow, with chalet-style rooms built into the hillside. Consider it when time at the estate matters as much as sightseeing in town.
The operator distinguishes Garden, Estate and Planters rooms. Its dining description uses course-served meals rather than menu or buffet cards, so meal preferences are useful booking questions. The exact-property photograph shows the pool, rocky garden and guest building.
Before you book or visit
Request photographs of the actual room category, clarify steps and hillside access, and arrange dietary needs before arrival. Ask which plantation walk and meals are included in your quote. Use the Pothamedu property address for arrival: the operator’s reservations office is separately located in Kochi.
