Thirunanthikarai Cave Temple
A rock-cut cave temple dedicated to Shiva as Nandeeswarar, dated to around the 8th-9th century and regarded as a showcase of Pallava-era cave architecture. Its interior frescoes and murals are considered early examples of the Kerala mural style, and the cave carries old inscriptions.
