Karunellinathar Temple, Thiruthangal

A rock-cut Shiva temple on the Thiruthangal granite hill, believed to have been built by the Pandyan minister Gurukalathirayan in 1233 CE. It shares the hill with the Ninra Narayana Perumal Divya Desam and a Murugan shrine, forming a rock-hill temple complex. The site lies about 4 km from Sivakasi.
