- Sri Sozhapureeswarar Temple, Sholinghur — An ancient Shiva temple in Sholinghur town, distinct from the hilltop Narasimha shrines. Dedicated to Lord Shiva as Sozhapureeswarar, it is one of the older temples of the town.
- Kanja Sahib Tomb (Battle of Sholinghur memorial), Walajah — A protected 18th-century tomb near the Sholinghur bus stand marking the burial spot of Mysore army soldiers slain in the 1781 Battle of Sholinghur, fought between the British and Hyder Ali. Measuring roughly 15 by 35 feet, it is preserved by the state archaeology department as a war memorial of the Second Anglo-Mysore War.
