- Meghamalai (High Wavy Mountains) — A misty cloud-forest hill station in the Western Ghats known as the High Wavy Mountains, ringed by tea and cardamom estates and dense shola forest. It is the district's premier hill retreat, with cool weather and sweeping ridge viewpoints.
- Meghamalai Wildlife Sanctuary — A protected shola-grassland sanctuary in the High Wavy Mountains that forms part of the Srivilliputhur-Megamalai Tiger Reserve. It shelters tigers, elephants, gaur, Nilgiri tahr and rich birdlife.
- Suruli Falls — A two-tier waterfall on the Suruli River near Cumbum that drops around 150 feet into a pool used for bathing and picnics. It is mentioned in the classical Tamil epic Silappadikaram and lies near the Suruli caves.
- Cumbum Valley (Grapes City) — A fertile valley between the Western Ghats and the plains famed for large-scale grape cultivation, earning Cumbum the nickname Grapes City of South India. The Panneer Thratchai grape and vineyard visits draw agri-tourists.
- Cumbum — The main town of the Cumbum Valley and a commercial hub for the region's grape and vegetable trade. It is the gateway town for Suruli Falls and the Meghamalai foothills.
- Chinna Suruli Falls — A smaller waterfall near the main Suruli Falls set within forested hill terrain. It is a quieter bathing and trekking spot in the Cumbum region.
