Abbey (Abbi) Falls lies about 8 km from Madikeri amid private coffee and spice estates, where a stream drops in a broad cascade into a rocky pool. A hanging footbridge across the gorge gives the classic head-on view.

The falls are fullest and loudest during and just after the June–September monsoon; by late winter the flow thins. A short path lined with coffee bushes and pepper vines leads from the car park.
