KR Market — the Krishna Rajendra Market, still widely called City Market — is the largest and oldest wholesale market in Bengaluru’s old city. It occupies ground near the site of the 1791 Siege of Bangalore, beside the Jamia Masjid and Tipu Sultan’s fort and summer palace.
