Kotebetta
Kotebetta, at about 1,620 m, is the third-highest peak in Kodagu, rising north-east of Madikeri near the Somwarpet border. Its name means "fort hill", and a small Shiva shrine (Malikarjuna) stands near the top, drawing both pilgrims and trekkers.
