History & overview
The Revi Karunakaran Memorial Museum is a privately owned museum in Alappuzha built in 2003 by Betty Karunakaran in memory of her late husband, coir industrialist Revi Karunakaran. It houses an extensive private collection including one of the largest private holdings of Swarovski crystal in the world, plus porcelain, jade, ivory carvings, Keralan artifacts, antique furniture and Tanjore paintings.
